The votes are in. The least offensive way to say you have a child this age is to say they are in their mid-twenties. That way it acknowledges their advancing age without drawing attention to yours. After all, that is the whole point, right? Phew, glad I figured that one out!

So, as I’m sitting in church yesterday with my mind beginning to wander into areas like grocery and to-do lists (sorry pastor), I hear the term OS10 from the pulpit. Not only did I find out that my pastor is a big Mac fan, but, that you can actually build a sermon around an operating system. Wonders never cease! He did, however, do a good job and it made perfect sense. It’s all about what makes us behave the way we do. I was excited when he mentioned the new iPhones and that he wants one almost as much as I do. Thou shalt not covet…thou shalt not covet…thou shalt not covet… Oh, it’s useless, I DO COVET! I really, really can’t wait to have one and I know I’m not alone.

I’m hoping for a warmer week and no more snow. This morning is a bone chiller. It was 7 degrees when I left home. That’s just painful no matter how you slice it. Let’s hope for balmy temperature of at least 30-35 degrees for the rest of the week!

It’s incredibly difficult to covet things when we keep creating technology as cool as the iPhone! I mean…we need them right? 😉

Has anyone seen a Nintendo Wii? I want one of those.
